Tanzania Women Chamber of commerce (TWCC) was brought up in December 2005 as organization to stand over and uniting women and youth entrepreneurs in Tanzania. The organisation serves as an apex and umbrella entity to encompassing sector, Business women Association, companies, Cooperative and sole proprietors
Now the organization is boasting membership exceeding 15000 and reaching to over 1milion women from all sectors of the economy spanning 27regional chapters in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar along with 14 women sectoral Association
The organization primary objectives lies in fostering uniting among women and youth entrepreneurs including those in formal sector to promote business formalisation and growth via robust capacity building initiative and mentorship programs
