Tume Ya Utumishi wa Bunge, The national Assembly of Tanzania that was brought up in 1926 as legislative Council of Tanzania mainland as then know as Tanganyika and it was brought basing on Tanganyika rehislative Council in the British Parliament.
The Law that was set was launched in 19th of June 1926 and Council was launched in Dar es Salaam in December of the same year under Sir Donald Cameron as their leader with other 20 Governors. Leiter changes was made in 1953 when the first speaker was elected in November 1953
In 1958 the changes were made in this turn the Council got few members who were elected by people and this was marked as the start to politics in Tanganyika as it was the first election to be allowed in colonial time. In this election three political parties were registered eg ANC, TANU and UTP
