Duties and responsibilities
Monitoring the vacuum pans operation to concentrate sugar liquor
Able to identify boiling zones in pan boiling and their effects during crystallization process
Making sure three boiling systems are used as per Illovo procedure in sugar manufacturing
Knowing exactly how to prepare quality grains using Magma and slurry
Performing a pan boiling tasks according to Kilombero Sugar’s quality
Conducting preventive maintenance on stop days and off crop period
Control boiling temperature, boiling vacuum pans operation to concentrate sugar
