POSITION: Leading Engineer
As leading Engineer you will be an integral part of multi person component team of a USAID funded development activity to increase access to sustainable water services You will provide direct support to RUWASA implementation of water supply and sanitation for infrastructure procured by USAID
Duties and responsibilities
Supporting RUWASA institutional operations
Supporting capacity development efforts to implement innovative operations
Supporting CBWSOS and WSSAs performance and operational capacity
Supporting capacity development efforts to implement innovative operations and maintenance models
Improving WSSA performance and operational capacity
Maintaining a continuous interactive exchange of information with the WASH Services
Review contractors plans and specifications for water projects
Ensuring quality and timely technical reporting from contractors
Degree in civil,Environmental engineering; water resources engineering, advanced degree in specific areas of specialization such as construction management, water resources management
Masters degree with seven years of experience or Bachelor degree with ten years of working experience
Experience directly involved or leading implementation of water delivery infrastructure
Demonstrated experience managing engineering and construction teams
Experience Leading detailed work planning and reporting
