Ifakara Health Institute(IHI) works with departments with six research units and seven technical units where research departments are. It works with environmental health and ecological science, interventions and clinical trials and heath systems and it works with health systems impact and evaluation policy
The organization is combined with grants and contracts, training and capacity building, data systems and platforms, vector control product testing including chronic disease testing.
