Assistant Human Resources Officer

Tanganyika Playwood limited (TPL) is looking for the assistant Human resources Officer ( Assistant HR Officer) to join their working team.  You will support the HR functions with their manufacturing facility through ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies 

POSITION: Assistant HR Officer 

Duties and responsibilities 

• Managing full cycle recruitment process including job posting 
• Maintaining compliance with all employment laws
• Preparing and submitting required reports and documents 
• Coordinating and facilitating employee training programmes 
• Implementing and monitoring health and safety policy
• Managing of everyday HR tasks eg staff attendance 
• Oversees employee disciplinary meetings

Qualifications 

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, business administration 
• Two years of experience preferably in manufacturing 
• Understanding of HR principles and practices 
• Good interpersonal skills 
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations 
• Able to handle confidential information 
• Able to adapt to dynamic and fast paced environment
