Assistant Head Chef- Full-time

Six Rivers Africa are looking for Assistant Head Chef to join their working team.  You will prepare delicious meals for guests and being able to sturdy the recipes to set up menus and prepare high quality dishes 

You should delegate tasks to kitchen staff and ensuring the meals are prepared in a timely manner 

POSITION: Assistant Head Chef

Duties and responsibilities 

• Setting up kitchen cooking utensils and equipment 
• Studying recipes and suggest new ingredients 
• Cooking food in a timely manner
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
• Cooking food in timely manner

• Ensuring appealing plate presentation 
• Supervision of Cooks and assist as needed

Qualification 

• Experience working in camps or Lodges within National Parks/Game reserves is a Must 
• Good communication skills 
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills 
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills 
• Able to multitask and coordinate activities in pressing situations 
• Good time management skills to complete many tasks 
• Able to createand proactive in attending to the various needs of guests 
• Able to thrive in fadt paced environment 
• Certificate in catering would be added advantage 
• Three years of experience as chef in any good and reputable restaurant
