POSITION: Accounting-Manager 

You will be responsible for various everyday task including managing financial statements, performing analytical tasks and managing fixed assets 

Duties and responsibilities 

• Leading and overseeing the entire operations 
• Monitoring and mentoring staff, Clerks and bookkeepers
• Overseeing the collection efforts 
• Maintaining the tax compliance and regular returns and taxes
• Advise business owners and individuals regarding to tax code 
• Reporting to the finance manager

Qualification

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related 
• Professional certification is plus
• Six years experience in accounting 
• Two years of managing the accounting department 
• Strong background working with ERP system, odious knowledge is plus 
• Strong understanding of the Tanzania tax laws
• Previous experience in Building credit policies and collection activities 
• Previous experience in FMCG or banking 
• Experience in managing financial statements, performing analytical tasks 
• Strong background in financial ans accounting principles 
• Knowledge of fixed assets 
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
• Able to work independently and in tem 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Good communication skills
