International School Of Tanganyika (IST) is independent and non profit day School in Dar es Salaam Tanzania offering various academic work in wide range of extra curriculum activities of students from grades to grade 12. This school was brought up in 1964 from groups of parents being led by Dr Michael Latham and Sir Andy chande.
The school refrect on the international school in the fact that it was brought up in the union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar that became Tanzania with the mission of challenging and supporting students to fulfil their aim to improve the world
The school has been brought up and developed via effective partnership with the local community to ensure strong academic results via good balanced curriculum thaþ gives students to explore their passion and interests.
The school has gained more strength from the school community with healp of rigorous academic curriculum and use of experienced members and strong parents basing on their beliefs of the balanced educational program
