POSITION: School Librarian
AKEST is looking for the Librarian based in Dar es Salaam
As School librarian you work on managing and providing access to information resources in library setting and acquiring books and other materials for library collection as well as cataloging for easy retrieval
You will develop and deliver programs and services that meet the needs of the school eg literacy programs, book clubs and cultural events
Duties and responsibilities
Organizing resources in accessible way such as shelving, cataloging and reference
Managing and supporting the provision of reading lists
Developing and managing collections of books and journals
Creating, updating and managing electronic and printed information
Selecting, acquiring and cataloging information
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
